ELECTRIC SUPERCHARGER DEVELOPMENT

This 48V system will enable the vehicle to operate a high-powered Electric Supercharger, which is currently in development by Safiery and OCAM with an anticipated ready date during 2021.

An electric supercharger delivers rapid time-to-torque, i.e., much quicker acceleration at take-off when compared to the traditional exhaust-driven turbo. Very few passenger vehicles today are powered by an electric supercharger, mainly due to the huge power source required to operate it. The Safiery 4WD Power Pack makes running an electric supercharger possible. Development is currently focussed on the 4.5L, 79 & 200 Series Landcruiser.  If it's as successful as we anticipate, this will be a game-changer!!
